MPEG ENCODING
Encoding is the process of transcoding videotape masters into the MPEG format used by DVDs.
Constant Bit Rate (CBR) and Variable Bit Rate (VBR) encoding are hardware based from a variety of digital videotape formats.
Our encoding hardware can accommodate both 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios in NTSC and PAL formats. 3:2 pulldown can also be removed to save disc space and eliminate pulldown artifacts.
Audio is encoded as Dolby AC-3 stereo or 5.1 surround sound DVD compliant files.
